CRNA 7507 Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Residency IV
NARs enhance the skills acquired in Practicum III by further integrating scientific and anesthetic principles. As “advanced beginners,” they apply evidence-based practices and adhere to safety and quality guidelines for patients of all ages, including complex patients and procedures cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical and trauma patients. NARs gain clinical experience in managing patients with minimal to mild physiological conditions in the operating room. NARs continue to work under supervision of certified nurse anesthetists and/or anesthesiologists. The objective is to advance from intermediate level to pre-competent level.
