CRNA 7403 Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Residency II
In the second of six clinical practicums, NARs, still novice learners, build on first practicum skills. Though less reliant on preceptors, they still need constant supervision. They enhance skills from Practicum I, integrating scientific and anesthetic principles. NARs gain experience managing patients with minimal to mild physiological conditions, including emergency surgeries. They also prepare for clinical experiences in acute and chronic pain management, using neuraxial and regional anesthesia techniques. The goal is to progress from novice to advanced beginner.
