CRNA 7405 Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Residency III

NARs enhance the skills acquired in Practicum II by further integrating scientific and anesthetic principles. As “advanced beginners,” they apply evidence-based practices and adhere to safety and quality guidelines for patients of all ages, including special populations and surgical specialties such as pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopedics and geriatric patients. NARs gain clinical experience in managing patients with minimal to mild physiological conditions in the operating room. NARs continue to work under supervision of certified nurse anesthetists and/or anesthesiologists. The objective is to advance from an advanced beginner to intermediate level.
