NURS 7358 Population Health for DNP Leaders

This course examines population health across the healthcare continuum, focusing on the determinants of health, risk factors for poor outcomes, and strategies to improve access to care. Students will explore collaborative partnerships, clinical prevention, information systems, and interdisciplinary approaches to enhance population health. Emphasis is placed on the role of healthcare systems, policy influence, and advocacy in addressing health disparities. Through self-reflection and application of evidence-based strategies, students will develop implementation plans to integrate population health principles into their DNP scholarly projects.
