NURS 7351 Principles of Acute Care 1
This is the first of four didactic courses that provides an in-depth exploration of the role of the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) in managing adult and geriatric patients with acute, chronic, and critical illnesses across healthcare settings. A body system approach is used to teach the essential concepts of evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute, chronic, and critical conditions. Students will study related scientific evidence, ethical principles, and health policy.
