NURS 7354 Principles of Acute Care 4

This is the final didactic course that provides an in-depth exploration of the role of the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) in managing adult and geriatric patients with acute, chronic, and critical illnesses across healthcare settings. This course builds upon the concepts taught in NURS 7351, NURS 7352 and NURS 7353. A body system approach is used to teach the essential concepts of evaluation, diagnosis and management of acute, chronic, and critical conditions. Students will study related scientific evidence, ethical principles, and health policy.
