NURS 7352 Principles of Acute Care 2
This is the second of four didactic courses that provides an in-depth exploration of the role of the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) in managing adult and geriatric patients with acute, chronic, and critical illnesses across healthcare settings. A body system approach is used to teach the essential concepts of evaluation, diagnosis and management of acute, chronic and critical conditions and builds on the concepts taught in NURS 7351. Students will study related scientific evidence, ethical principles, and health policy.
