Parent and Family Programs

UT Tyler Parent and Family Programs links parents and families to vital information and opportunities to stay connected to campus. Our goal is to make the transition to college as smooth as possible for you and your student and to keep you informed throughout the years.  We also host events like New Patriot Orientation and Family Day that connect students, parents and families to each other and the campus community. Our Family Association provides the resources families need to stay connected while supporting their student’s success from New Patriot Orientation through graduation.

This office also houses the Parenting Student Liaison. The Parenting Student Liaison is available on-campus to support current and incoming students who are parents or legal guardians of children under 18 years of age, or are pregnant. A Self-Reporting Form is available for students to notify this office of their status as pregnant or parenting student.

To register for the Family Association please go to www.uttyler.edu/parentcenter, email parents@uttyler.edu, or call 903.565.5645.
