ART 5351 Graduate Studies in Women in Art I

The focus of this course is women artists and depictions of women in art. Critical theories concerning gender representation will be explored through an examination of images, text, discussion and writing assignments. Historical and contemporary artworks will be covered. This course covers the historical periods from Egyptian to the end of the Nineteenth Century.
