NURS 5373 Integrated Mental Health Care II Capstone Pediatric, Adolescent, Family

This course is the final synthesis of the theoretical and clinical foundation of advanced practice nursing in the psychiatric mental health care management of individuals and families across the lifespan.  Students participate in direct patient care supervised in a psychiatric mental health care setting. Students explore Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner role in a collaborative practice model focusing on health policy advocacy, networking, professional development, and preparation for engaging in life-long learning (125 clinical hours).
