NURS 5368 Integrated Mental Health Care I - Adult/Gerontology
This course integrates theory and research in clinical care across the lifespan by nurse practitioners. Students provide care under the guidance of a clinical preceptor, focusing on complex health problems. Emphasis is on developing differential diagnoses, implementing person-centered treatment plans, and applying trauma-informed care principles. Students will lead interprofessional collaborations and apply diagnostic reasoning and therapeutic communication skills in both simulated and real-world environments (125 clinical hours)
