EPBI 5301 Introduction to Clinical Trials
The Introduction to Clinical Trials course is designed for faculty, trainees and staff engaged in clinical research at the University of Texas at Tyler. The course introduces attendees to basic principles of clinical research design, including biostatistics methodology, design and interpretation of predictive and diagnostic test studies, and essential elements of clinical trial protocols. The course will also introduce regulatory aspects of clinical research conduct and oversight, ethical considerations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) when performing clinical research.
