PBHL 5334 Finance and Resourcing for Public Health Organizations
This course is designed to provide students with tools to identify, obtain, and strategically utilize available and appropriate financial and cross-sectoral resources for implementation and maintenance of public health and health/wellness-focused projects, programs, and services. Included are finance and budgeting strategies and methods, proposal writing in response to federal, state, or local requests for application (RFAs) or Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) of grants and contracts, private agency and foundation options, inter-institutional collaboration to optimize provision of efficient services and widen funding opportunities.
