HIST 4336 The Modern Conservative Movement in the United States

The modern conservative movement formed as a reaction to the rise of liberalism during the 1960s.  By studying the changing dynamics of domestic policies, the impact of liberal, conservative, and activist organizations, and the evolution of communication, this course seeks to understand the roots of conservatism over the last fifty years.
