EENG 4342 Optoelectronics and Photonics

Electromagnetic principles of optoelectronics and photonics. Propagation in dielectric and fiber optic waveguides. Interference and diffraction of optical waves, LED and laser operating principles and applications. Three hours of lecture per week.
