Registration Procedures
UT Tyler encourages students to use the online registration periods for which scheduled dates and times are published on the UT Tyler Academic Calendar website. Online registration is made available via the myUTTyler system. Admitted students are encouraged to registered and alter their schedules using the online schedule as often as needed before classes start. However, it is important for students to understand that by state law, on the first day of classes, you will incur financial penalties for any changes to your schedule or for registering late. You will not receive a full refund if you drop a course or make a change on the first day of classes per state law. We also caution against registering late. Students who register past the second day of class typically do not do well in classes. Please consult with your advisor and instructor before making schedule changes.
Students desiring to add and drop once classes have begun may do so using the Registration form found on the Registrar’s Form Library. Completed forms may be submitted to enroll@uttyler.edu or the One Stop Services Center. Some enrollments may require additional permissions.
