Graduating seniors in the Politics, Philosophy, and Law (PPL) concentration will be well-prepared to pursue advanced academic study or a wide range of careers in law, government, business, academia, and other fields. The capstone course for the PPL program is a culmination of the student's academic journey. This capstone course provides a culminating experience for Politics, Philosophy, and Law (PPL) majors, allowing students to synthesize their acquired knowledge and skills through in-depth research and critical analysis of a complex contemporary issue at the intersection of politics, philosophy, and law. This course is designed to challenge students to apply their knowledge and skills to a complex policy issue. The capstone course encourages students to draw on insights from all three disciplines of PPL - politics, philosophy, and law. The PPL capstone course will emphasize theoretical integration. Students will integrate relevant philosophical, political, and legal theories to analyze their chosen topic, demonstrating a deep understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of PPL.
