This is an exploratory course for students interested in sports officiating. Topics will include rules and their interpretation/application, definitions, signals, mechanics, and positioning. Additionally, in-depth discussion on conflict resolution and communication in high intensity environments. The course will cover the following sports: baseball/softball, basketball, football, and volleyball.
