BIOL 4101 Microbiology Laboratory
The principles of bacterial isolation and characterization, with a focus on culturing, DNA extraction, gene amplification, sequencing, bioinformatics, and phylogenetic analysis, will be emphasized. The lab section is designed in a project-based or experience-based teaching format, to provide hands-on training and encourage independent work for the participating students.
