MANA 5388 Management & Public Policy
This course explores the complex interrelationships between business, government, and society. Traditional topics in this area are covered, such as the corporate form, the role of economic markets, value creation, stakeholder theory, corporate social responsibility, organizational ethics, government regulation, corporate political activity, the role of labor, protection of the natural environment, and sustainability, among others. The link between management and public policy is addressed from a number of different perspectives.
